Here are some of the pieces in the Matilda Project story, which is tied up in its roots with the story of Richard and Wendy Phillips, who moved to Uganda in 1996 and then to Zimbabwe in 1998. Richard was APSO co-funded to work on an AIDS education and lifeskills programme. It is also tied up in the story of some great friends, and particularly in the story of Matilda Ncube, who died of AIDS in 1999.
